Introduction
Publication Unit is one of the 6 Units of the library section in the National Library. This Unit is headed by Zulfa Mohamed and two other staff, Asima Adam and Shaheeba Mohamed.

Work of the Unit

• To compile English and Dhivehi bibliographies separately. It aims to list all publications published in the Maldives as well as overseas publications pertinent to Maldives.
• To compile library accessions list of English and Dhivehi publications and make it accessible to the customers. The aim is to help customers find the new accessions list at a glance and get the idea of the collection development of the National Library.
• To take full responsibility of publishing the research done by the National Library on genealogy.
• To handle in-house publications of the National Library such as leaflets, booklets etc.
