Collection:
The library has a fairly good number of Arabic and Urudu books besides Dhivehi (Maldivian language) and English books.  The English section contains more than 37,000 books, both Reference Fiction and Non-Fiction.  Dhivehi, Arabic and Urudu section contains almost 9740, 1570 and 950 respectively. In addition, library holds special collections: American corner; United Nations; Gender and National. Serial collection holds bound periodical volumes, reports, manuscripts, journals and other serials, newspapers and press cutting files, pamphlets.  The books are categorized according to Dewey Decimal Classification 21st edition and catalogued according to AACR2 as well.
